Donna Hanrahan earned her M.S. in Bioethics at Columbia University and is now a J.D. Candidate at Seton Hall University School of Law. Donna also currently works as the lead research strategist at a medical technology startup. In the past, she has worked as a research fellow at the Healthcare Innovation and Technology Lab, a research assistant on a qualitative research study at Columbia University Medical Center. Donna recently spent time at Yale University’s Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics Summer Institute, where she focused her research on the role of social media data in epidemiology. She is passionate about exploring the role of emerging technologies and their applications in healthcare to create better, more cost-efficient health outcomes.
